The February snows brought an opportunity to enjoy the Park with a new generation of Park afficianados. The Park is totally about these relationships. Two back to back snow storms stranded Dallas residents in Piatt County. So what do two stranded Texas visitors do? Go Sledding at The Park, of course!!
The meadow hill at the Park is ideal for a four year old. The meadow hill will stand forever as the first, solo sledding downhill run. In spite of the cold wind, the excitement of the sledding run offsets the hardship of cold winter and the climb back uphill. Even for a Texan!
